Actor John Witherspoon Dies

The comedian and Friday actor died at age 77 on October 29. “He was a Legend in the entertainment industry, and a father figure to all who watched him over the years. We love you ‘POPS’ always & forever,” Witherspoon’s family said in a statement on Twitter. He was also known as the famous actor, Gramps in Boondocks. He was featured as the Pops in The Wayans Bros. in 1995 series.
